Day-by-Day Programme

Day 1: Ho Chi Minh City to Can Tho (L, D)

  • Transfer: Drive from Ho Chi Minh City to Cai Be (110 km; 2.5 hours).
  • Activities:
    • Embark on the Song Xanh Sampan Cruise.
    • Cruise along the river, observing daily life and visiting cottage industries (coconut candy, puffed rice).
    • Visit a historic house in Dong Hoa Hiep village and a clay pot factory.
    • Enjoy lunch on board while cruising.
    • Visit a Cao Dai temple.
    • Anchor for the evening, savoring the sunset.
  • Overnight: Onboard the Song Xanh Sampan Cruise.

Day 2: Can Tho (B)

  • Morning:
    • Early cruise to Cai Rang Floating Market, experiencing local produce and breakfast on board.

    • Drive to your hotel in Can Tho (check-in at 14:00).
  • Afternoon: Free at leisure.

    • Enjoy a leisurely bicycle ride (approx. 10 km) through countryside and villages.
  • Afternoon: Return to the main pier or hotel pier.
